Convivial Camping

“Camping man” was the man of the camp.

Be it a forest or land, he moved like a champ.

Made pancakes and took us everywhere.

He walked brisk and was there to care.

Brad Pitt made a great move from his husk.

He was happy & content in a camp at dusk.

Forgot that he worked at Deloitte.

He got the title “log man” which is just rite.

We talked and made up the stories of love.

Making others laugh was the behove.

With all kinds of names, nobody ever knew.

It was all fake, did anybody have any clue?

The first camping experience was full of fun!

I licked my fingers, eating the bun

Snacks, drinks and mouthwatering food.

Finally, I like to say it was too good!!

Happy New Year

I wish all my blog readers a very Happy New Year, Let the year 2007 bring in all the success and happiness to you all. This year I felt the New Year celebration in Bangalore was more colorful and I could see more people on streets compared to last year. I received many SMS, with messages saying that the network will be jammed on 31st December. But in fact our service providers were all set for more traffic for 31st December. They could manage it. I guess Airtel, BSNL, HTUCH, Spice, Reliance, TATA & other mobile/Telephone service providers made good money on this New Year occasion. It is estimated around 1 Billion rupees!!!. This reminds me the Hutchison-Essar deal; it is estimated to be around 17 to 18 billion dollars. So if you make right calculations, 10 such New Year occasions will make the company go past break even and make more profits.

India needs Revolution.

Have you ever renovated your house while staying in it. Believe me it is a mess. In early 90s, my father was did a small renovation of our house and we stayed in the house while extending a part of kitchen, bathroom and dining hall. I was not comfortable during those 30 days of renovation. There was no privacy coz, workers were every where doing the job. The entire place was full of dust. The small tiny particles of sand and cement were there in all the places. My mom used to clean the house all day long to keep it clean. Once the renovation completed, there was sense of relief and I particularly was happy because of no dust. I am telling you this story because this exactly fits the current Indian system. Be it the Nair Radia tapes, Telecom Scandal, common wealth scandal,political parties, etc. By seeing India from a distance, as i am currently outside India, i feel India is still in process of renovation, there is corruption every where. How it all started In the year 2000, Y2K created fear among many companies. Lots of companies had to spend millions of dollars to correct this issue. IBM which created this code did not provide any root cause solution. But asked companies and clients to fix the code at the application level. And at the same time internet was a new phenomenon with lots of people wanting to have a web page on the Internet. But since the internet was still in its infancy, it could not provide any monetary returns. So there was a dot com collapse. When this was happening in the year 2001, 9/11 happened and shocked the entire world and all the markets collapsed. Later, then the US government wanted to send a message to other countries, that the US market is very stable and incidents like this would not impact them.
