How it all started

In the year 2000, Y2K created fear among many companies. Lots of companies had to spend millions of dollars to correct this issue. IBM which created this code did not provide any root cause solution. But asked companies and clients to fix the code at the application level. And at the same time internet was a new phenomenon with lots of people wanting to have a web page on the Internet. But since the internet was still in its infancy, it could not provide any monetary returns. So there was a dot com collapse. When this was happening in the year 2001, 9/11 happened and shocked the entire world and all the markets collapsed.

Later, then the US government wanted to send a message to other countries, that the US market is very stable and incidents like this would not impact them. So radical approach was used to kick start the economy and also they went after the countries which were involved in attacks, which in turn required billions of dollars. But this inorganic growth had to collapse somewhere, which we all saw in the year 2008.

The 2008 collapse was so bad, that it affected millions of people's lives either directly or directly. With this collapse, only the rich made the money. The middle class and poor had bad luck and had to face huge losses. After this episode, there was a gradual shift of brain power from the US to other countries. Many intelligent people started to move out of the US. Many good technical people moved to Singapore, India, China and other developing economies.

China which was growing steadily during this period captured this moment and made the right moves and improved all its technologies and also enhanced its scientific and military capabilities. India also grew its GDP but not as much as China.

In the US, after the economic collapse, they were struggling to grow as earlier and the Administration of the US tried to contain the collapse and went for a stable economy and jobs for the people. Along with this US had developed enemies across the world because of its inconsistent foreign policy across the world, so the US was busy handling those issues and missed the bus on economic development, cutting-edge innovations and progress.

Whereas china on other hand had lesser enemies and no constant threat from anybody. They internally could manage the economy, administration and foreign policy in a much more stable way. And also resolved many territorial disputes with various neighbouring countries.

Growth of China

The growth of China in the recent past is so massive it is making any country to look bad. Along with the growth, they are slowly creating strategies like the New world bank(AIIB), one belt one road(New Silk Road), building new ports and super fast train tracks and also capturing the south and east china sea by building the artificial island. These developments from China seriously irked the US and they wanted to have a counter strategy and cut the world dominance of China. Therefore we will start seeing some major changes and overhauls of the existing system and processes.

Technology

The US is facing fierce competition from China, Russia and other developing countries and competition to acquire advanced technology is always on cards for most the countries. Many times having the technology is not a sufficient condition for dominance Implementation of new technologies will prove the capability of any country. In that respect, one would see many technological advancements and changes in the US. Some of them can be

a) Automation – Massive automation in manufacturing and the use of Robots will be the major trend in general. The use of drones, bots and AI technology will be key technologies.

b) Machine learning and Artificial Intelligence – Data scientists and AI engineers are in great demand and they are getting paid in millions. With the amount of money spent on AI, we will soon see results in many sectors.

Computers brought the change to the world a little slow because of the learning curve and people involved. But since machines are converted to Artificial Intelligent devices, this change will be very rapid and people who work in Low and medium-skilled jobs will see the impact. To prevent the impact on local people government might take steps directly or indirectly on the immigrant population. The migrant population will face the heat in the near to long term unless they bring any specialised skills to the table

c) Drone, Bots, Driver-less cars, lots of other Apps and many terms which are unheard of earlier. New technology related to AI will be created and all of these will one way or other replace the jobs done by low to medium-skilled workers. These workers will be used to maintain existing software or inventory on an ad-hoc basis.

Finally

The US will be going for extreme automation, this would put China at a disadvantage whereas advanced countries with lesser populations will be able to use the extreme automation and can grow their economy and also can put a severe competition to China. Whereas the Chinese model is based upon people-based manufacturing and cheap labour. Changing this model to automation will be very difficult for China to implement.

Right-wing politics

When the US goes for extreme automation, US would no longer need any kind of immigration and on the other hand, they may need to cut down existing people. This can be achieved by having a right wing politics. we are already seeing this happening in US and UK.

De-Globalization

The new buzz word in the year 2017 and future will be De-globalization. There will be a mass migration to home countries or country of origin in future. Illegals will be forced to go back. Legal immigrants will be challenged with protectionism. It would not matter even if you have obtained citizenship or green card or any form of legal status. If you are from a different country De-Globalization will catch up. The only exception will be for people who are extremely talented in Robotics and automation.

New Products

If things go as executed then people will see new Innovative products such as Self-Driving Taxis, Drone delivery of products at your door steps, Massive military systems, Robot controlled manufacturing units, one person managed factories and facilities with robots, Personal history systems/ratings (similar to credit ratings), Key-less system in office, cars and houses., etc(usage of finger print), Innovative medical cures clubbed with artificial intelligence might be few products which we might see in next 5 to 10 years. The Success of these products will eventually result into personal robots in every house in next 20 to 25 years.

Security

Tracking on people using automation will be intense and this will lead to Zero tolerance measures on the Immigrant population. People might face certain racism, protectionism and other kinds of abuses. Immigrant population with no alternative and those willing to tolerate this kind of treatment will continue to stay in West. Tracking on people in the third world will be done secretly using technology and any problems arising from them will be put to end effortlessly. Eventually, World will become a safer place, but at the cost of intense surveillance.

Jobs

There will Jobs in sectors where minimal robotic technology can be used such as Healthcare, sports, fashion, art, music, movies, governance, high-end technology, recreations and more.

Conclusion

The US going for new technological development and modernization will make China also to evolve. This could result in the Cold war between China and USA.

If the US does not put its cards in proper sequence then protectionism might result into global recession and this might benefit China more and thus become the super power.

In extreme case, China and US might go for war by using its allies instead of having a direct conflict. This may result in major war conflicts in south-east Asian country region or cold be India, China and Pakistan Borders.

And in worst cases, which I do not foresee to happen. we all may end up in a world war 3.

Millennial's and next zen kids buckle up your seat belts and expect a more adventurous trip than anything you have heard or seen earlier.

My Love with Football

My Love with Football June 2010, FIFA world cup has started and I am really excited to watch the matches. And I can't wait to see my favourite team win the world cup. I don't know why I love this sport more than any other, though cricket is very popular sport in India. I happened to love this sport more. It all began in 90, I had learnt Maradona and Pele were the legends of football and I had watched them play in pervious world cup highlights which was telecasted in our only TV Channel of India the Doordarshan on Sundays. 1990 was the year, where the FIFA world cup was held in Italy and my hero Maradona was playing in it. I was glued to the TV all night watching great matches. Due to time difference and one channel could not telecast multiple matched at same time. I had missed some matches in 90, but i had seen most of them live. Argentina was brilliant in this world cup. Maradona was great. He helped Argentina win matches against Brazil, Yugoslavia and Italy. These were th

Automation

Human brain is created in such as way that it tries to innovate and keeps building on the existing innovation. Therefore this raises the bar on each individual achievement. On other day, I was just thinking about social networking, Facebook, MySpace , Orkut etc. which lead me to think all about computer and internet. If you look at computer and internet from a distance, it is indeed remarkable achievement of mankind. Initially there was no computer everything was done manually, next computers were invented to make things work automatically. Once the computer were built, these computer were inter connected through a network and eventually globally which is called Internet . Internet has made the computer very powerful. The connected computer is more powerful and lethal when compared to the standalone system. Once we had established the network, lots of interactive system were built such as email system, centralized application client-server technology and Web technology. Initially

Why our major metro cities in India lacking in infrastructure.

Why our major metro cities in India lacking in infrastructure. You take cities like Delhi , Bombay , Chennai, Kolkatta, Bangalore , Pune or any other city of India Why it is struggling to cope up with growing population.Where are we going wrong? What is the problem? I was thinking on this and I feel the problem lies with all. First we can put all the blame on politicians. But still can we put all the blame on just politicians. What responsibilities does our Bureaucracy have? , what is our judicial system doing? Why the private player does not take part in town planning? And finally why our common man does not stand out and demand for the needs. Actually the problem lies with every individual. The attitude is "why should I need to fight for others?" and feeling is “what ever I do it is not going to change.” Most of our so called Corporate People (Multinational Companies) are just bothered about themselves. A Company in electronic city just want the Hosur
